Despite having had a pacemaker operation two years ago, Arthur Sinclair (Hal Holbrook) maintains a thriving international business as a renowned mentalist. His wife (Katharine Ross) enjoys his success, but privately dreams of running off with the struggling actor (Barry Bostwick) she’s been having an affair with.
