Here at KBZ, we’re all about movies. Members of KBZ have all worked in the film industry so our passion for film is our lifeblood. It’s what we live and breathe for. A few years ago, we started thinking that there must be a better way to find certain types of movies and a better way to recommend quality films to others.
When looking at movie genres, it started to make sense that subgenres and microgenres would better isolate the types of movies you might be in the mood for. That’s ultimately where The Lists were born, and these are just some of the initial subgenre and microgenre film lists we came up with. We’ve also started creating Top 10 lists of lesser-known films you might not have seen that will hopefully open you up to new cinematic experiences.
For recommendations, we’ll be starting a weekly newsletter to recommend lesser-known films across different genres that we hope you’ll seek out and enjoy. We also have some plans for a better recommendation tool that will ‘separate the wheat from the chaff’ to give better personalized and quality film recommendations. We hate wasting our time with horrible films and we’re sure you do too!
