Anarchists in the 1920’s help impoverished farm laborers protest against their landowner bosses in hopes of securing higher wages and better working conditions. Things turn ugly when the government sides with the landowners, and a military brigade is brought in to quash the strike. The deaths of strike leader Jose Font and German socialist Schultz mark the beginning of what becomes a massacre.
