In 1840’s Buenos Aires, a young Jesuit and a wealthy socialite fall in love and begin an affair. They leave the city to live in a village together assuming nobody will know of their forbidden love. However, they are soon discovered and hunted down by both the church and Camila’s family for a capital crime.
