Against Her Will: An Incident in Baltimore

After moving his family to Baltimore, the cantankerous lawyer Harmon Cobb (Walter Matthau) takes on a case suing the state of Maryland for the release of an unjustly institutionalized mental patient, Marika (Bridgit Ryan), a young woman being held against her will. Although the small-town lawyer is in the big city, his fight for justice remains unwavering. Meanwhile, his widowed daughter-in-law (Susan Blakely) seeks a new beginning as well, with the awkward Jack Adkins (Brian Kerwin).
